Finding Balance.. How your physical actions impact your mental health

Maybe one day I’ll be able to reach back and hold my ankle!!

That day is not today. Not tomorrow or next week either!! But maybe, just maybe, it’ll happen one day! 🤣

My progress is pretty slow, I like to let things happen naturally – on the mat and off.
Sometimes I feel I could push myself more but I know that I also need to be careful.
.
There have been times in the past where I have been so focussed on achieving some pose or transition that it ends up having a really bad effect on my brain! I used to get pushy and start thinking I wasn’t enough. (Still happens sometimes!) *When I dropped the idea that I had to DO & BE something MORE than what I am in the here and now, my life completely changed!*

So yeah, I’m still trying to find that balance.
Learning to bring some intensity back, in a softer way 😊

So if you needed a reminder today, this is it!! ➡ You ARE good enough! You’re doing YOUR best! Cut yourself some slack… (and maybe a slice of cake too!) 😛❤☄
